A trip to Peru could be a memory made for a lifetime. The country is on the West Coast of South America and is one of the most bio diverse nations on the planet. Travel to the highlands of Peru and you must visit the Inca town of Cusco. Cusco was the heart of the Inca Empire and is full of temples and ancient Inca palaces. Wander the cobblestone streets and explore this wonderful highland town. Not far from Cusco is the naturally beautiful Sacred Valley of the Inca´s. See the majestic Andes Mountains that tower above the valley.
On any visit to the Valley you will need to have a guided tour of the Inca ruins, Take to tour of Pisaq ruin and discover how brilliant the Inca builder were, after you finish you time at the ruin go down to the quaint little town of Pisaq. From Ollantaytambo travel by train to the town of Aguas Calientes, you might well ask why do you need to go to Aguas Calientes. The town is the starting point of you journey to Machu Picchu, the most impressive Inca site left to admire. Hundreds of visitors make the trek to Machu Picchu every day and it should not be missed on your journey to Peru.
Around six hours from Cusco is the lakeside town of Puno. Puno is on the shores of Lake Titicaca one of the highest lakes in the world. The lake is famous for several things, but the reason most people visit the lake is to see the Uros People and the islands in which they live, unlike anything else in the world these islands are made completely of reeds that grow around the lake.
