Porto, or Oporto as it is called by the locals, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the twelfth one I’ve visited since the start of this site. Technically it is just the historic center of the city that is a heritage site, but I took this panoramic shot of the entire city because I loved the view. From what I understand the historic center is the part pictured at center here, highlighted by the tower you see poking up in the skyline. This is my second panoramic shot (ever) so again, it isn’t perfect, but I think it gives a great perspective of what we got to see on our second day in town. This shot was taken at sunset across the river from Porto in the neighboring city of Gaia.

I agree with Robin…and I also feel like you’re following us even though you’ve been ahead – I seem to be reading your posts one day after we leave the place you’ve written about =)
