I have just landed back home in London after a fantastic holiday to Barcelona with my family. Have you been to Barcelona before? If the answer to that question is no then you need to start making some travel plans as soon as possible! Flights are now so affordable that you really don’t have any excuse not to go.
We managed to pick up some cheap flights but we were even luckier when we were looking for a place to stay. A friend recommended that I take a look at the HCC Hotels in Barcelona because he’d stayed with them on several occasions.
The first thing that surprised me was just how many hotels HCC have in Barcelona, there are 9 in total. Depending on the neighbourhood you want to live in, the sites you want to see or your budget you are sure to find something that fits perfectly with your plans.
For me, the hotel is important when I go on holiday because it’s the place where I will be resting and relaxing when I am not out enjoying all of the tourist hot spots. Whilst comfort is paramount, I certainly don’t want to feel uncomfortable with the amount of money I am spending on my room. HCC Hotels offer fantastic rooms, which are clean, tidy, spacious and safe, whilst at the same time at a more than affordable rate.
My advice to you would be to choose which of the sites you want to see and then head over to the HCC website to check which hotel is closest. This is particularly important if you are planning a short weekend break in Barcelona, time will be short so you need to make sure that you make the most of it.
I didn’t plan my itinerary for this trip because we were all so busy with work before we jetted off. Thankfully the staff at the HCC Regente were more than helpful when it came to giving us local knowledge. It only took 15 minutes talking to the concierge in the morning before we had our whole day planned, he even recommended a local restaurant off the beaten track which was exceptional.
I’ll be heading back as soon as I can, the HCC Regente made my stay better than I could have imagined. If you’re planning on going to Barcelona soon don’t forget to book your room at the HCC hotels!
