You may have heard of the growing trend of hiring campervans and for some it may not sound so attractive, but there is much more to it than that. It’s quickly becoming something that anyone and everyone should try at least once in their lives. In fact, you may be surprised that you actually like it.
Anyway, here are my reasons why your next holiday should be in a campervan and not in a hotel.

See the stars, without sleeping outside
One of the greatest things that people talk about when camping is being outside and being able to see the stars. This is great, but for those that don’t like to sleep in tents (or outside for that matter)
Home Comforts
There’s nothing better than sleeping in a proper bed and waking up to beautiful nature in comfort and with a campervan you can do that very easily. You also don’t need to worry about your drinks being cool or your food going off, vans these days are very well equipped with things like fridges, heating, cooling, kitchens and so much more. It’s just like bringing your home or apartment with you, how convenient is that?
Take what you want
When going on a traditional holiday you are usually limited to a suitcase, but with a van or motorhome you can bring a lot more. Maybe you want to go surfing? Or ride some trails on your mountain bike? There is enough space to do all of these things in the van, just pack your bag and other stuff in the van and you are ready to go and do all the things that you can’t do everywhere else.

When you travel on a train, you get to see a lot of things, small towns that you wish you could stop at, mountains you want to climb and so on, but unless you really want to make your trip expensive and very long you just don’t do it. With van or motorhome hire it’s easy to stop just about anywhere, the best thing is that you don’t have to worry so much about finding accommodation in an unfamiliar area, you are quite literally driving it!
There is truly something for everyone
I already mentioned how great it is that you can take whatever you want and have all the comforts at home, but what if your budget is a bit more limited? You can truly hire vans and motorhomes at all kinds of budgets with all kinds of specifications. For me this is one of the most beautiful things about this van holiday movement is that it truly does not matter who you are or what you do, you can enjoy being in the great outdoors and it is something that we should all be doing to get away from the ratrace of city life and distraction.
