Once you have you have booked at Hotel Costa del Sol, here are some great things that you can do, so read on to find out more
Playa del Cañuelo
This is, in my very humble opinion, the best beach on the Costa del Sol, which really is a feat in itself. This great places is nestled next to the Maro cliffs and sports an unusual sand that has hues of grey. The water is also crystal clear and it makes for an interesting sight when you see the fish swimming around your feet. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the warm weather and amazing water.
Malaga is a great city on the Costa del Sol, which offers the best of Andalusia. The city may be small, but it sports some world class tourist attractions. The Picasso Museum is my personal favourite that pays homage to one of the world’s greatest artists, who actually comes from Malaga. I also enjoy visiting the stunning Alcazaba, which is an 11th century fortification that nods to Spain’s rich Arabic history.
This amazing town lies in the east of the Costa del Sol and is one of the most popular resort destinations in the region. I especially love how untouched this area is, despite its popularity. The Balcon de Europa is a stunning 13th century fortification that allows you take in some stunning views and is well worth the visit. My favourite thing to do here is of course the Cuevas de Nerja, which is a huge underground labyrinth that is filled with stalagmites and stalactites. The town is also something of a cultural hub which boasts classic music and flamenco dancing.
El Caminito del Rey
This is a place for the thrill seeker and is widely considered to be one of the most dangerous paths in the world. Imagine being 100 metres high and strolling through over 4 kilometres of trails through a gorge. This is a fantastic experience with some unforgettable views of the town of El Chorro. This is probably my favourite thrill seeking part of all of the Costa del Sol.
