There were few stop signs in Antigua, Guatemala and the ones that were there seemed to be more of a suggestion than a requirement. On busier intersections, however, you could find one or more of these traffic cops. Doesn’t hurt that these two just so happened to have a stunning volcano behind them.

Ah….glad to see that much hasn’t changed since I lived there in 2001-2003
Heading back there in October finally for the first time and can’t wait to hang out in Parque Central. Any new hotspots worth checking out in town? Hope you had a great time there!
Glad to hear you get to go back! Not sure what was there in 2003 but one of my favorite nightlife spots was La Esquina. Every Wednesday night they have an awesome live slasa band and lots of backpackers and locals alike seem to come out each week. I had the pleasure of going twice and loved it both times. 10Q to get in but that gets you a free rum and coke as well so it works out. Where about did you live?
