The Electronic System for Travel Authorization, also know as ESTA, is in place for those international travellers that wish to travel to the United States. The good news is that it is now possible for citizens from Chile to apply online for their Visa Waiver because their country is now a member of the ESTA Visa Waiver Program with the United States.
The ESTA online application system is extremely easy to use and allows people that want to travel to the United States an easy way to apply. So how do you apply and what exactly do you need to do? I have taken the time to write down some key pointers about the application process which I recently did myself. International travellers that want to head off to the United States using the Visa Waiver Program are now required to pass some enhanced security requirements and need to pay an admin fee for the process. If you are one of the eligible travellers that is heading to the US under the Visa Waiver Program then you need to apply for authorisation and following that pay the fee. You will need to follow five very simple steps:
1) Complete your application
2) Submit your application
3) Record your application number
4) Make payment
5) View your application status
Once you’ve done all of that it’s time to start planning the amazing time you will have over in the fantastic country that is the US. Make sure that you take your time to read up on everything that is on offer because believe me there is a lot!
